Sorry folks!!! Especially sorry to Jules- I tried to put you on my side bar blog list and I have somehow done it all wrong. Now I must wait for my son to call in and correct it for me.
Weaver: Just now catching up with your blog after several months of too much work keeping me distracted and immediately noticed it was "you and Tess" but no "farmer." I am so sorry to hear that he died. After our son died, we found grief came fresh and hard and unexpectedly when we thought we were "past the worst." Losing your husband, giving up your house, and the farm... each bit will have its own contribution to the grieving process. I will keep you in my prayers.
I am a widow for the second time - first marrriage 39 years, second marriage 23 years - both very happy. My second marriage was to a farmer and when he died the farm was sold. I now live in the nearby small town on the edge of Wensleydale in The Yorkshire Dales. My beloved Border Terrier died a couple of years ago - I still miss her but as I am 90 and need carers I shalln't get another I have one son,who lives nearby with his wife, three grandchildren, one step grandchild, two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren..Life is good.

Pat that made me smile. I hate to do anything different to my blog now. Inevitably, I mess it up.
Yes, I know only too well to leave everything alone. I have made so many boo boo's in the past I make myself happy with things now.

I try and follow blogs using my phone and it inevitably goes wrong for me. X
